Chelsea FC: Digital Blue
Chelsea FC Foundations Head of Education & Innovation, Matt Mead, and Schools Education Manager, Sam Gaskin-Kemp, presented their innovative and unique Digital Blue programme.
The Education Department at Chelsea FC Foundation have spent the last two and a half years building and delivering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) programmes for its local community, whilst highlighting the skills needed for tomorrow.
The unique programme allows children to have a go at designing their own stadium and football boots, and the opportunity to build their own remote-controlled robots before a tour of the museum. This workshop was specifically focused on their Sphero coding project and had a practical session with Chelsea Ambassadors (pupils selected from local schools) showing attendees how to use basic block code to play robot football.
